5 natural ways to improve skin quality

5 natural ways to improve skin quality

The quest for a healthy and radiant skin doesn't need the fast, expensive and most times, and skin chemicals of the pharmaceuticals.

In fact, the storehouse of nature offers a more holistic approach as its remedies never fail.

However, it is important to state here that the leading factors that take a toll on the quality and texture of your skin are stress, lack of sleep, poor nutrition, pollution, damage from the sun’s ultraviolet rays, excessive smoking and drinking.

Though there are numerous beauty care products that promise a clear and glowing skin, it is advisable to try some of the following simple and easy home remedies to improve the quality of your skin.
Here are five proven ways to enrich your skin naturally
1. Lemon

The citric acid in lemon helps keep the skin clear by removing dead cells, and its vitamin C content helps reduce dark spots by increasing the cell renewal process.

Lemon also has bleaching properties that will help improve your overall skin complexion.

Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it.

Do this daily for as long as you can.

Another option is squeezed the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off.

To exfoliate your skin, mix two teaspoons each of lemon juice and sugar. Apply the mixture on your face, neck, and hands. Scrub in a circular motion and leave it on for 10 minutes.

Then rinse it off with lukewarm water. This remedy tone once a week promotes skin glow
2. Honey

The moisturizing effect of honey coupled with its antibacterial properties ensures the skin is healthy and radiant.

Apply raw honey directly on the skin. Let it dry uninfluenced and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. The water content in honey will deeply moisturize the skin, making it soft and tender.

This simple remedy could be done once daily or every other day.

Alternatively, mix two teaspoons of milk and one teaspoon of honey. Then add one teaspoon of gram flour and mix well.

Apply it all over your face. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse it off with warm water. Use this face mask once a week to enjoy radiant and clear skin.
3. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera has many benefits for the skin. Its antibacterial properties help kill bacteria that cause acne, anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe irritated skin, and astringent properties that help heal scars.

Additionally, aloe vera moisturizes the skin and stimulates new skin cell growth.

Apply aloe vera gel on your face with a cotton ball by extracting it from the leaf. Allow it to dry on its own for about half an hour, and then rinsed off with lukewarm water.

Follow this remedy daily or several times per week
4. Baking soda

Baking soda balances the skin pH level, which is very important to maintain clear skin.

In addition, its mild antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties help deal with problems like acne, pimples, and spots.

It also works as an excellent exfoliating agent to keep the skin free from dirt, impurities and dead skin cells.

Mix one teaspoon of baking soda with one teaspoon of water or lemon juice to make a paste. Cleanse your face and use the paste to gently exfoliate the skin.

Finally, rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat it dry with a towel. Do this twice or three times a week.
5. Baking soda & honey

You should mix one teaspoon each of baking soda and raw honey. Apply this mixture onto damp skin and massage gently for just one minute.

Wash with lukewarm water; and splash some cold water on your face to close the pores. Do this once a week for effective result.

Ten Mistakes You Must Avoid In Your CV -

Ten Mistakes You Must Avoid In Your CV -

A Curriculum Vitae is your own way of communicating your abilities, experiences, qualifications and skills in order to secure a job you desire.

Writing your CV requires conscious effort. Employers have also identified some flaws that reduce the chances of job seekers getting call backs simply because they do not know or are careless about the presentation of their CV.

For the purpose of this writing, we would list and discuss ten mistakes applicants must refrain from in order to scale through job interviews and get the appointment afterwards:

Irrelevant information:
No employer has all the time in the world to check through your CV; they scan through your CV within a minute or less. So, do not fill it with needless information that would only jeopardize your chances. Data like religion, height, weight, etc. should be excluded.

Hiding significant information:
What else does your CV do if not to sell your personality vis-à-vis the job you aspire to and this should be communicated right away to your prospective employer in your CV. You can use highlights or bullet points to emphasize your strong areas and important information.

Ambiguous expressions:
On no condition should you use words or phrases like ‘several’, ‘a few’, ‘many’ in your CV, which are not definite enough. They can only make your CV unclear and hence, become unacceptable to your interviewer. Especially when you are meant to state the years of work experience, mention exactly the number of years, designation or role, and nothing more. Perhaps, you made significant sales in your previous employment, state precisely the figure or amount for your interviewer to know that you are sure of your responses, and that you are not faking it.

Wide or close gaps between employment dates:
The onus lies on you to explain the reasons you were out of employment for such a long time, maybe due to a professional course, travel, or any other necessities, etc. In case it is a close gap in date, which some employers frown at, you should let them know the reason too. You may offer that the close dates or short stay in an employment is occasioned by a job opportunity in your professional field or interest, necessitating the shift, etc.

Being economical with the truth:
Know that your CV is representative of your worth. However, do not include a qualification and work title that you know nothing about. Saying exactly what you are or have (qualities, previous salary, grade level, skills, etc.) presents you as an honest person and that could be just what the interviewer or employer needs to approve you as the best fit for the job.

Too lengthy expressions:
Describe yourself or ability in the shortest possible way because it will help you keep your employer interested in going through your CV. Adopting a short but precise CV helps keep your material to a maximum of two pages, which is acceptable for the so busy employers who have tons of other stuff to attend to.

Heavy graphics design:
Focus on the most important things, which are your experience, qualification and skills. Employers are interested in what you have got to offer other than mundane add-ons (though they may cite it in the course of interview). Let your CV be typed in a screen friendly font like Ariel, Times New Roman, etc. and with a size not exceeding 10 or 12 for the body text, while the heading and subheading can take a slightly larger size.

A clueless introduction:
Instead of a vague introduction, we recommend a direct expression of your ability or experience with words like “A sales representative with 10 years of work experience in the financial sector”. This is acceptable than saying ‘results-oriented, team player, achiever,’ etc. Mind you, the interviewer’s first port of call might be your introduction and if you can get the required attention there, you will be good for it.

Enlisting Referees:
Except it is called for, do not, for any reason, list a number of referees, which takes up a lot of space in your CV. Better state that ‘References will be presented on request’. Preferably too, list your references on another sheet of paper for evaluation by the employer.

Grammatical errors:
This is termed a credibility killer by some people. Do not ruin your chances of getting a job by any error in grammar, spelling, or expression. Therefore, make sure you check and cross check your CV for errors and get someone else to do this for you too.

Great Ways To Spend ASUU Strike Or Any Holiday Period -

Great Ways To Spend ASUU Strike Or Any Holiday Period -

It’s no longer news that ASUU has gone on strike. There’s no idea how short this will last but going by the news, expect another week.

Yeah, I can relate with how annoying the trend is. Take it from someone who’s sat at least a year of strike actions put together.

Looking on the bright side, ASUU strike does provides you extra time you can put to great use. This same can be said of other ‘holiday’ periods.

For this article, a holiday refers to anytime school is not in session. It may be semester breaks, strike actions or the unfortunate case of waiting a year to rewrite JAMB. It could also be the months of waiting for NYSC call up.

In any case, this time is valuable and you can’t afford to blow it away. There are tons of stuff you can do with this free time. Even if you may have misused some of this times in the past, this is one time to make things right. Here are 7 ways you can make the most of this period…

1. Intern or get a small-time job
This may be a great time to draft your CV and pitch yourself to employers. Already, there are a couple opportunities since the announcement of this strike.

Walk around your area, speak to older friends and colleagues. Actively, seek opportunities to improve on your work experience. The pay may be peanuts, but the experience is worth much more.

2. Join the family business
Some of us have ‘family businesses’. This the business our parents have been doing for some time. It can be a big-time company or a small supermart. Whichever one it is, it’s not a bad idea spending holiday working here. It’s one way to give back and also add to your professional experience.

3. Learn a new skill
I have an engineer friend who makes a living today from graphics design. He learnt it while we were in school. There’s almost no limit to the skills you can learn during holidays. If anything, start with learning basic and intermediate computer operations (if you don’t know that by now). Code schools are also popping up everywhere so you can join one. You can also join the growing community of Nigerian freelancers and hone your skills.

4. Be active in church, other groups
Refuse to be an onlooker anywhere you find yourself. Be a part of people who make things work. Join a group in church, your community, and be active in it. These experiences also contribute shaping the person you’ll be in the future.

5. Travel
There’s no harm in travelling if you can afford it. Travelling is also a form of learning. If you happen to have relations scattered around Nigeria and abroad, consider travelling. Life’s too short to not explore more places.

6. Read books
I don’t mean only course-related books. Take up a novel, read a book on investment, study Nigerian history, look up spiritual books. Read far and wide.

7. Have fun
Well, you still have to catch some fun. Plus, it’s perfectly okay to spoil yourself a little. You can binge watch your favourite TV series, play football, go to more events etc etc.

Things Your Car May Not Need -

Things Your Car May Not Need -

Things Your Car May Not Need -
Tune-up - The tune-up has been obsolete for decades. On late model vehicles with computerized engine controls, there is nothing to "tune" or manually adjust. Major engine functions such as idle speed, the fuel mixture and spark timing are all controlled electronically by the powertrain control module. In spite of this, many people still call changing their spark plugs and air filter a tune-up, when in fact what they are actually doing is scheduled preventive maintenance. Platinum and iridium spark plugs typically last upwards of 100,000 miles, and air filters can often go several years or 30,000 miles or more depending on driving conditions and dust exposure.

Chassis Lubrication - Some trucks may have grease fittings on the ball joints, tie rod ends and U-joints. The same goes for some heavy-duty aftermarket replacement ball joints, tie rod ends and U-joints. But on most late model cars and light trucks, the original equipment steering, suspension and drivetrain joints are all sealed for life and do not require any lubrication or service.

Fuel Filter - Replacing the fuel filter every few years or 30,000 to 50,000 miles may be recommended for preventive maintenance, but many motorists have never had a fuel filter replaced! Unless you get dirt or rust in your fuel tank, the fuel filter should last for years or tens of thousands of miles. Many late model cars and light trucks no longer even have a recommended fuel filter replacement interval. Instead, they have a "lifetime" fuel filter located inside the fuel tank as part of the fuel pump assembly. Unless your vehicle is experiencing a fuel delivery problem, therefore, there is no need to replace the filter.

Wheel Alignment - Accurate wheel alignment is essential to minimize tire wear and to keep your vehicle traveling straight. If your vehicle has been experiencing unusual tire wear, your wheels may need to be aligned. But if the tires are wearing normally and your car steers straight with no pulling toward either side, there should be no need to have the wheels aligned. Most tire stores recommend a wheel alignment check when you buy new tires. But if your old tires do not show abnormal wear and they lasted at least 60,000 miles, chances are your wheels are still in alignment. Once set, wheel alignment should not change unless steering or suspension parts are worn or damaged.

Engine Flush - An engine flush circulates a cleaning chemical through the engine to remove sludge, varnish and other contaminants. If you have neglected regular oil changes and your engine is full of sludge, this would be a recommended service. However, if you have changed your oil regularly, and your engine shows no signs of abnormal deposit formation, there should be no need to have your engine flushed.

6 Foods You Should Avoid As A First-time Flyer -

6 Foods You Should Avoid As A First-time Flyer -

What you eat before you board a plane can make a huge difference on how you feel when you eventually arrive at your destination. This is important for a first-time flyer whose main concern is surviving his first time in an aeroplane. In order not to further ruin your experience, Jumia Travel, the leading online travel agency shares six foods you should avoid as a first-time flyer.

Fried/fast food

You may be tempted to eat fast food if you are hungry. However, know that taking fast food would make digestion difficult for your body. This may cause heartburn or stomach upset. So, try as much as possible to eat a balanced diet.

Alcohol

Alcohol is not a food but a beverage. Regardless, it is something that can seriously disrupt your flight experience. So, taking alcohol can lead to dehydration. Beware!

Carbonated beverages

Carbonated beverages, like soda and beer, can cause bloating. You will be very uncomfortable during your flight because your stomach will expand when the air pressure changes.

Coffee

Airplanes are already drying to your body. So, when you combine this with the dehydrating features in caffeine, you can easily develop a headache or become nauseous.

Beans

You already know by now that beans cause gas. You will keep releasing gas during your flight if you eat beans and it can be very embarrassing. By the way, it is seriously bad luck for whoever is sitting next to you.

Red meat

When you visit a restaurant to eat before a flight, you should not eat red meat as much as possible. You may find it difficult digesting red meat. Fish is a perfect substitute.

How Do You Deal With Customers Who Wants To Buy On Credit ?

How Do You Deal With Customers Who Wants To Buy On Credit ?

How Do You Deal With Customers Who Wants To Buy On Credit ?
Have you ever been in a situation where you finished a service for a customer and the next thing you hear is:

“Please Pardon me, I don’t have the money to pay you right now, I will pay you later”

Although allowing credit sales can bring more customers, it can also be a risk to your business because most times, your customers may disappoint you.

Every entrepreneur wants to be paid on the spot when a service has been rendered or when a customer picks up a product.

But sometimes, clients don’t have money to pay for a spot and may wish to pay later.

However, in this article, you will learn strategies that will stop customers from buying your products or services on credit or reduce credit sales.

1. Place A Notice

If you want to stop customers from buying on credit, placing a notice is one of the best strategies you can apply.

Have you ever gone to a restaurant and see the word written boldly

“Pay Before service”

This will tell the customers that before you can eat there, you must pay first.

One of the funniest notices I have seen is

“No credits today, come tomorrow”

So even when you come the next day, you will still see the same notice telling you to “come tomorrow”.

2. Build A Trusted Brand

Building a trusted brand is one of the ways you can reduce credit sales.

As a business owner, your brand must be trusted before people can pay you instantly for any product or service.

People will prefer to shop on Amazon (and joyfully put in their credit or debit cards) than a low-quality e-commerce company because they believe that Amazon will get the products to their residence without issues.

3. Do Not Engage In Excessive Production

Avoid or reduce the excess supply of a product if want to stop customers from buying your products on credit.

You would eventually need to sell some of your products on credit when supply is greater than the demand for it, especially when you're dealing with a perishable item.

This can be seen in the case of a farmer who produced over a thousand baskets of tomatoes when the demand for his produce is less. He would need to sell a huge fraction of his produce on credit or lose them entirely.

Since there is always a way to estimate what clients would need in a certain period, products and demand should be on a balanced scale to avoid debtors.

4. Study Your Client's Behavior

There will surely be a period where it is difficult to make sales in every market. Note this period and do not try to force sales as you could end up selling on credit.

Clients can also make large purchases with the hidden motive of owing you some part of the money. If you know your customers well, then you can understand when they are about to do such. Never yield to their request.

Dear Graduates, What Are Your Future Plans? -

Dear Graduates, What Are Your Future Plans? -

What the plans for the future? let ask again. Do you remember the question “Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years” that you felt Human Resource Managers ask just to destabilize us during job interviews? Please listen, it isn’t just that.

I understand that 5 years is too small in this country to make any meaningful impact in the life of any graduate.

I understand that 5 years in this country could mean working for 10 different organizations – no time to settle and carve out a career path.

I know that 5 years might mean searching for a job for four years, only to use the remaining one year to start building up savings. I.e. if they even allow us last in the job without a sack or retrenchment letter on our desk.

I understand all these, but my question still stands; “what are your plans for the future”

Before you start mentioning “buying a new house, riding an expensive car, marrying the princess of England and others,” I want you to understand that plans are totally different from visions, aspirations and projections.

I might not have the liberty of explaining all these in details just for you, but you can go ahead to make some research and note down the difference between all of them.

Let me come down a little bit for those who might have gotten lost along the line. My question is “What are you doing or thinking of doing that will give you the freedom to ride an expensive car, marry a beautiful wife, travel around the world in style, and finally become a big name in your town or country”

Vision is the end product of the plans that are being put in place. Plans are the means to achieve your visions.

Dear graduate, you remember as a kid when they told us that “our beautiful future lies in our hands?”

I never understood the meaning till now, till I ended up telling my From Jobless Graduate to Plenty Job Offers . I am pretty sure that most of us don’t either. In simple terms, they meant that “our future is only dependent on what we create and how we create it”. This simply means that right now, our future is still blank, waiting for us to create it before walking into it.

Let me not digress further; you are probably done with your university education without a job, still in the university, or a young working graduate. The question still remains “What are the plans for your future?”

The odds might be against you now; but what are you doing to make sure that sooner or later that the odds favor you.

The future is in your hands!

What plans are you making to succeed? What skills are you acquiring to become the next big thing? What are the sacrifices you are putting in place to make sure that you have a bountiful harvest?

Several times I see young people without skills take up low paying jobs, making a ‘sacrifice’ of living within their means monthly as they pray for something better to come their way. The painful truth is that saving your monthly stipends will get you nowhere. You need extra sources of income – only rendering services through a skill acquired can give you that liberty.

What skills do you have? What skills are you acquiring? What plans are you making for your future?

I know you love your current job so much, or maybe you don’t. If there are no concrete plans for the future, the advancements in life are going to hit you and sweep you off like a tornado.

Now you know all these, what plans are you making to succeed?

How To Make A Man Admire You, Chase You, Fall In Love With You And Marry You. -

How To Make A Man Admire You, Chase You, Fall In Love With You And Marry You. -

HOW TO MAKE A MAN ADMIRE YOU, CHASE YOU, FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU AND MARRY YOU!

If you don't want to grow white hairs before you get married, here are the things you need to do to attract your man and get married on time:

1. SMILE: Men love smiling women. No, not the one that begins and ends with the mouth, the one that starts from the eyes. Genuine, loving smile attracts people, creates friendship and unlock doors! Learn to smile at people baby, women who lack men's attention rarely smile. They are always cold and look as if they are carrying the problem of the whole world on their head! Some of these ladies even frown a lot! Look, everybody has a problem, no man wants to add another person's problem to his own. Be a genuinely happy person and show it by smiling at people. Men will find you irresistible and seek to know you more.

2. BE HUMBLE: Humble women don't lack suitors! One way to stay single for a long long time is to be proud and cocky! Proud women are a big turn off! If you always roll your eyes at people, segregate yourself from the company of common people, talk down on anybody and you are practically rude because of your class, money, car, social status, job, etc, you will stay single forever! Be humble! Learn to accommodate all class for people. Learn to serve others. Learn to use "sir" when talking to men. Some men may tell you it doesn't matter but secretly, they love it. Men love it when women address them with respect. Learn to be respectful and submissive to authorities.

3. BE CONFIDENT: Confident women are attractive any day any time. Knowing who you are, pursuing your dreams, vision, passion and goals makes you a confident person worth investing in. When you know your reason for being here on earth is far more than getting married, punch out few kids and stay locked in the kitchen forever, you approach life with a positive mind set, you are energetic and confident in who you are, you have a good, sound self esteem and men are irresistibly drawn to you.

4. BE FRIENDLY: Ladies who keep to themselves hoping some Prince Charming will find them are not ready for marriage. Be friendly! Being friendly is different from being desperate and cheap. Go out. Attend positive programmes, conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums and serve in your local church. Enjoy meeting people and getting to know them purely for friendship not for marriage. A man can smell it a million mikes away if you are desperate and chasing him. Just be yourself. If you are just being friendly and he thinks you are cheap, that's his headache! Don't let that stop you from being friendly to people. Smile a lot, meet people and be a happy person to have around.

5. BE GENEROUS: Stingy women who can't part with anything don't know what marriage is about. Be generous to people. Be generous with what you have. Be generous with your smile, your love, your talent, your service, your money, your prayers, whatever you've got that can bless lives. Generous women are men attractors, they never lack admirers.

6. BE FORGIVING: Forgive all your EX, forgive the guy who abused you or rape you, forgive all who disappointed you in the past. Practice advance forgiveness, forgive people before they hurt you, more people will offend you. If you find it difficult forgiving people, you will grow bitter and people will move away from you especially men. Release the man who promised you marriage but disappointed you and married someone else. Actually, you were not meant to be. If you had married him, you may have been divorced or dead! Thank God for it and move on. If you don't release that man you may never find any man to marry! Men will unconsciously move away from you and you will be singe and miserable for the rest of your life!

7. BE INTELLIGENT: Men like intelligent women. Know when, how and where to talk. Don't be a dummy upstairs. Know what is going on around you. You shouldn't be a naive, empty-brained, beauty queen. Your face may get you into the marriage, your brain will determine how long you last. A man likes a woman who can give intelligent answers to questions and contribute meaningfully to discussions. If he asks you, "Why is Nigeria in the mess we are in?" And you scratched your head, looked at the ceiling, bite your finger and say, "I don't know" Your brain needs revival!

8. BE NEAT: Dirty ladies are not good marriage candidates. Some ladies look great outside but if you see where they step out, you will remember world war 2! Very dirty, disorganized and rough to say the least! No sane man wants to marry a dirty woman. Learn to be neat. Take good care of your underwear, learn to shave. Keep off the body and mouth odour. Deal with the eczema and pimples, do your hair on time or comb it well. Always appear neat and presentable.

9. LEARN HOW TO DRESS WELL: Wear something that fits you, not what is in vogue. Get a good tailor who can sew clothes that fits your body shape. Learn about your body shape and wear something that flatters your figure. Straight ladies need clothes that flatters the waist line. There are some clothes good on hourglass not good on pear, apple shapes will look great in shirts and suits, pears will look great in gowns etc. I'm not saying you can't wear different kinds of clothes, just wear the ones that fit you. They make you sweet to look at and simply irresistible!

10. LOVE YOURSELF: You can't love others if you don't love yourself. Celebrate yourself. Accept yourself the way you are, you are simply the best. Don't envy anybody. Not everyone's got what you've got, celebrate your uniqueness. Men love ladies who love themselves. Don't envy someone else's looks, love what you have. Don't wish you have a fuller chest, heavy bum, sexy nose or longer hair. The man God created for you needs someone exactly like you and will fall in love with you just the way you are so chill and appreciate God.

11. BE GODLY: Godly women carry God and carry gold. Men find you irresistible.

12. BUILD A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR DAD AND SIBLINGS: It tells a man how you will treat him in marriage.

13. BE FEMININE: Some women have masculine nature: the "Tomboys"! And there are men who love tomboys, honestly! Not with standing, learn how to sit like a lady and talk like a lady! It's "un woman" to sit with your laps thrown apart, you belch loudly after gulping a bottle of malt and barge in and out of a house like a soldier! Even soldiers are regal in their steps! Stop giving men the impression that they want to marry a man! Be ladylike! Learn it if it is not natural with you.

14: BE HARDWORKING: No man wants to marry a lazy, indolent, passive, idle, backward, sleeping, purposeless and visionless woman! You will attract your kind! If you want a hardworking man, be hardworking, up and doing, agile, proactive, versatile, business minded, creative and industrious. Learn how to make money and have an active bank account!

15: READ BOOKS: Ladies who read instead of jumping from house to house gossiping about nothing in particular don't lack good suitors. Read godly books that will bless your life and make you a testimony to others. My husband was attracted to me because I was a voracious reader. John Mason brought us together.

16: GODLY ASSOCIATIONS: Some women will never marry until they change their friends. If you want to marry fast, you will need to let go of your unserious friends who enjoy clubbing and get close to married women with beautiful marriages whom you can learn from!

These and more are the things you need to do to get a godly suitor and marry gloriously. You still need to pray though, some delay are spiritual in nature. No matter what you do, you may never get a man to marry if you don't break some yokes through earth shaking prayers and violent application of the word.

You should practice all these if you want to get married on time and also get in the word, pray against delay and deal with every stronghold and spiritual problems in your life. I see you getting married soon in Jesus name. Do not forget to send me an invitation. FEEL FREE TO SHARE. God bless you, cheers!

4 Tips To Improve Your Google Indexing -
As you already know, if your website doesn't get enough traffic from Google, you have to do something to improve its ranking on the search engine. A website with no traffic is no good. In fact, without visitors, no website is considered alive or valuable. So, if you want to make your website a popular one, you should get it a lot of visitors from Google. But the catch is that getting a blog or website ranked on the search engine is getting harder with the passage of time, as the task requires a great deal of time and effort. Below are 4 tips that can help you accomplish the task with ease.

1. Let Google Know You Are There

How do people do this? Well, Google does offer a submission form for new website owners to submit their website. This way the giant search engine comes to know about the existence of your new blog or site. But believe me, you don't have to go this way.

What you need to do is let the search monster discover your site through another reputable site. The former method is prone to spam masters, and most spammers go that way. Once the Google bots check out your site, the pages of your blog will get indexed, and each time you will post new content, Google will index it automatically and your blog ranking will continue to improve.

2. Perform on-site SEO

Once your blog pages get indexed by Google, your next step should be to check your site for on-page SEO. This is another very important factor that can get your website ranked among the top sites and blogs. Given below are the things that will help you improve your on-page SEO.

Internal linking of your blog pages
Permalink structure
HTML code

3. Authority links

If you want to rank higher, you need to keep two major factors in mind: quality links from authority sites and quality content. What does this mean? This means you have to find sites that you can get back links from. Ideally, the sites should be on the first five pages on Google for related search terms. Getting hundreds of low-quality links won't be of any use.

Here it's important to note that the back links should come from sites or blogs that are related to your site or blog niche. Getting thousands of links from unrelated sites won't work for you.

4. Monitor your performance

How can you find out if your blog ranking is improving? Well, there are a lot of online tools that you can use to check your website ranking. A simple way is to make a search on Google with the keywords you included in your content. If your website shows up on the first few pages for the terms you searched for, your rankings are improving.

In short, the 4 methods described above can get your blog ranked if applied properly. Hopefully, you will be able to rank higher from now own.

Easy & Simple Steps To Monetize Your Blog And Make Money Guaranteed

Easy & Simple Steps To Monetize Your Blog And Make Money Guaranteed

Case Study: ShoutMeLoud.com made $52,434 in the month of July 2017 with a full detail of their income report on their site. ShoutMeLoud is a blog dedicated to teaching people how to earn online. We have blogs that make much more than ShoutMeLoud, there are blogs that even earn in hundreds of thousands of dollars in blogging monthly. Don't even doubt it. This one is just for reference purpose.

Blogging is actually a business system for making money, if done with dedication and understanding rewards financially.

If you have any doubt concerning making money by blogging irrespective of your experience please throw it into the trash bin. Not just money is made through blogging, crazy money is made through blogging. We have bloggers that earn more than the collective presidents of West African Countries in actual salary. Stupendous money is made but based on hardwork, patience, study and diligence in the art and science of blogging.

The biggest mistake people make when starting a blog is to think of blogging as the work of only hiring a web designer to design their website and pouring in all manners of content hoping to make money.

In making money from your blog you need more than a website designer, you need insight from successful bloggers, media and online business consultants, growth hackers, and digital marketers whose insight in online business and blogging worth a goldmine to you. You need to develop a sound, practical and robust online business model and plan which will serve as blueprint for the blogger, web designer, manager, content writers and others concerned to follow course.

How many bloggers actually sat down to create an online business plan that depicts how money will be made from the blog and the strategy that will activate the plan to success before actually embarking on developing and starting the blog?

Blogging is serious business, a lot of diligence, planning, business strategy and envisioning goes into making your blog a business that brings income.

STEP 1

ONLINE BUSINESS MODELLING & PLANNING

The first place to start is to develop an online business model and plan you will follow. For me it, took me almost 2 months to get my online business model right.

To monetize your blog, your online business model for your blog must be clearly divided in two, they are

1) Support and

2) Services

1) For Support:

This aspect of your online business model establishes and spells out the specific ways you plan to help your audience, visitors and the online community with your blog. For my blog which is web support based, gives support to bloggers, webmasters and online entrepreneurs in the aspect of

i) Web optimization: scaling

i) Growth Hacking: growing

iii) Web guide: process

iv) Online Enterprise: monetizing

Please don't follow my plan, i am just using mine as an illustration, you can copy my monetization system but follow your own plan base on your passion and vision for online business and blogging.

2) FOR SERVICES:

Your online business model must also include the services you will SELL to your audience.

Let me say this before i continue...

If your support is not excellent your service will fail or suffer low patronage, so focus more on giving excellent support in your blog through quality contents offer like videos, texts, podcast and responding excellently to questions or request in your comment box, with the aim to really helping people.

It will also be a bad business plan for your blog to give excellent support but no service offer in terms of consulting, freelancing or otherwise.

The monetized areas of your blog in your blog business plan are the aspects that offers services such as consulting, freelancing, affiliate products and others which I will disclose the major ones here later.

Don't forget that most part of the services you offer must co-relate with the type of support you give on your blog. Support creates professional trust that establishes credibility for others to engage and buy your services. The level of support you give affects the level of patronage for your service that you get.

For me, the business model of my blog service offerings are:

i) Web base consulting & Freelancing services

ii) Web centred affiliate resources for setting up and optimizing websites and blogs.

As I said earlier, follow my monetization model but follow your passion and plan. Be Yourself.

STEP 2

NICHE

You need to carefully and thoughtfully choose your blogging niche or simply the market you will serve.

Some niches to choose from but not limited to these are:

Parenting

Education

Music

Personal development

Digital publishing

Email marketing

Online business

Dating/relationship

Weight loss

Health

Blogging

Nutrition

Politics

And many others.

Your blog cannot be jack of all trade where anything goes. No! streamline to one or two niche which your blog will focus on. Let your passion dictate for you the niche to choose. All niche are profitable but some are more profitable than other, you get the gist.

Niche choosing is important for your blog monetization because people buy professionalism, therefore you need to be seen as an authority in a way before people can trust you with their money. Establishing authority is very important, that is why you need to choose an area of authority called your niche.

STEP 3

TRAFFIC

If you are going to make money from your blog, getting huge traffic to your blog must be a daily agenda and work. Traffics bring visitors, visitors become fans and audience and then they become clients who buy from you online. The monetization process all starts from bringing them to your blog. And the best method of bringing traffic to your blog is to produce quality and really helpful content that solves real problems for people. Another way is give crazy offers through targeted advertising. The best medium for targeted advertising right now is Facebook advertising. You can also get traffic though links, search engines, forums, content promotion platforms like Quora, etc.

Work on your traffic generation plan, don't leave traffic to chances, be proactive with increasing pageviews of your blog.

"What is unseen counts for nothing" Roberts Greene, 48 Laws of Power.

Do everything to be seen and make the traffic generation count by building a blog with the right business model for converting audience to sales.

STEP 4

MONETIZATION

There are different monetization plan you can initiate into your blog.

1. Affiliate Marketing:

this is the hottest and most popular monetization method. Affiliate marketing is all about earning some commission for selling products of other online platforms. Do further studies about affiliate marketing and the best ones to join for your niche. For example, out of $52,434 made by ShoutMeLoud.com as income, a whooping $39,787 of their income source came from Affiliate Marketing.

2. Online Courses:

you can start an online course which people can pay to enrol to learn from you, again how your blog is able to support your visitor tells them how trustworthy your premium programs can be. To set up your online course you can check

i) udemy

ii) teachable

These two third party platforms can help you set up your own online course and provide the tools to educate your students, they also handle payment processing.

3. Membership Section:

this is a type of monetization plan where you give privilege and certain access to certain products or contents to only those who have subscribed as members in your blog. Create a members-only area in your blog. Read more about it. Use a platform known as "Memberful" to create a membership section.

4. Advertising:

this include direct advertising, google AdSense, and other PPC & CPC advertising plans. Warning! don't flood your blog with adverts. Only give strategic places for adverts.

5. Content Monetization:

by signing up for stackcommerce affiliate program you can marry good content with relevant products that can sell through your content and make you money.

6) Ebooks:

Ebooks are a great way to sell and monetize your blog. You can create fantastic ebooks on hot topics in your niche and offer them for sales.

7) Freelancing:

you can offer any type of freelance services to people, e.g. web design, writing, SEO, social media marketing in your blog, designing etc.

cool Consulting:

your professional experience is money, offer consultation services in your area of professional blogging. Make it known in your blog that there are certain consultation service you render. Just do what is convenient for you.

Find the best monetization plan suitable for your blog and initiate them in your blog.

Don't forget this: make your blog a heavy platform for supporting people in the niche you belong, your business profitability is based on it.

You can mention other monetization methods for blogs in the comment area for others to learn about.

5 Most Commonly Replaced Car Parts - Car Talk

5 Most Commonly Replaced Car Parts - Car Talk

Every automobile owner will tell you that maintenance is critical. By taking care of your vehicle, you can dramatically increase its lifespan. There are some car parts that should be at the forefront of your mind during road trips or even your daily commute. Here are five automobile components that need to be replaced frequently.  Spark Plugs  Some manufacturers suggest you change your spark plugs every three years in order to keep your vehicle running smoothly. Engine idling, engine misfiring, high fuel consumption, engine surging, or a lack or acceleration all indicate that it's time for new spark plugs.  Headlights  In order to see properly and drive safely at night, you need working headlights. As technology changes, owners have seen a decrease in the frequency of replacing the car parts associated with headlights. That is because more manufacturers are using LED technology, which outlasts traditional lamps. Of course, these do cost more, so when the time comes to replace the bulbs, you probably will spend a little more money if you have a newer vehicle.  Tires  Depending on the brand of your tires, you could have to replace them after as little as 30,000 miles of travel. You should regularly check the tread for signs of wear. If you place a penny in between the treads of a tire and can see the head of Abraham Lincoln, then the rubber has worn down too much.  In addition, if you have a newer vehicle with a tire pressure monitoring system, you will eventually need to replace this component. Over time, the sensor will wear out. This system offers significant benefits, as it warns drivers when the pressure is too low. Even though the replacement of this system adds to an automobile's maintenance pricetag, many choose to pay the extra price.  Brakes  Stopping your vehicle takes its toll. Brake pads eventually wear down and have to be replaced. In order to avoid incurring additional expenses, you should have your pads replaced at the first sign of wear. This could be a noise or noticing that it takes more pressure or time to come to a complete stop. If you wait too long, not only will you have to replace the pads, but you may also have to replace the rotors underneath.  Batteries  New technology is making it so that your vehicle's battery does not have to be replaced every three years. However, even if you have a five-, seven-, or ten-year battery, you should make sure the battery gets testing during your annual maintenance tune-up. By checking it annually, you can replace the battery before it dies, avoiding the hassle of finding your automobile dead one morning.  There are many different car parts that you will eventually have to replace. However, these five are the most common and will need to be changed more often than other components. If you perform regular maintenance on your automobile, it will last for years.
10 Steps On How To Prepare Your Car For Long Term Storage -

10 Steps On How To Prepare Your Car For Long Term Storage -

There is quite a difference between not using your car for a couple of days and not using it for six months.Understand how to prepare your car for long-term storage by following basic maintenance and service.Doing so will go a long way to protecting your car and helping you use it again when you are ready to take it out of storage.
Below are some steps to take in order to protect your vehicle for future use.

1)Do not engage the handbrake when you leave
Engaging the handbrake over an extended period can result in the brake pads getting stuck to the discs or drums. The smarter thing to do would be to use wheel chocks, like a piece of wood or even a brick,to keep it from rolling and leave the car in first gear.

2)Park indoors or use a car cover
If possible, park your car indoors. It'll be safer and cleaner. If you don't have this option, invest in a quality cover.Make sure to buy one made for your car model or type. Also, avoid using the cover indoors as this will ensure any moisture that is left inside will evaporates faster, especially in humid weather.

3)Spark plug care
It's advisable to remove the spark plugs and spray a little oil into plug sockets before putting the plugs back again. This will prevent the insides of the cylinder-head rusting and keep away the moisture.Fuel additives can also be used to provide a protective coating to the insides of the engine.Of course,do this only if you're comfortable handling the mechanics of the car.

4)Clean the interiors before parking the car
Leaving trash in cars such as chocolate or biscuit wrappers, old newspapers, water bottles and left over food items can attract rats, which can damage floor mats, seat covers and even wiring.

5)Fill up the fuel tank
One of the major problems of leaving a car unused is rusting on the inside of the fuel tank. The best way to avoid this is to fill the car to the brim with quality petrol, and even add some fuel additives. This will keep away moisture entering the tank and prevent rusting of the fuel tank. Also, make sure that the tank is sealed properly as well.

6)Battery maintenance
It is better to remove the battery if you're going away for a long time. Also, smear petroleum jelly or grease on the terminals and the wire ends to prevent rusting.Ensure that the battery is fully charged and top up the water level. Store the battery in a cool and dry place, well away from direct sunlight.

7)Paint job protection
A car's paint job can be damaged if the vehicle is parked outdoors, even with a car cover protecting it,due to the dust, grime and moisture. To prevent damage, clean the exterior thoroughly.Make sure to remove any dirt, dust or grime stuck to the vehicle before applying a coat of polish and wax. This will help in keeping moisture away.
Using the car cover will offer complete protection.

8 )Jack Up the Car
Cars that have been stationary for long periods develop flat spots on tyres. To avoid this, use four jacks(or blocks of wood)so that the car doesn't rest on the wheels.Sports cars with low profile tyres can be left without support for as much as two months without any damage to the tyres.

9)Change oil and filters
It is good to change engine oil and air filters. Used oil contains moisture, metal filings, sludge and other corrosive elements. It's best to put in fresh engine oil and new filters before leaving. However,Do drive the car for a few kilometres so that the fresh oil is circulated inside the engine.

10)Keep the tyres properly inflated
Check the tyre pressure and make sure the tyres are at the correct pressure.Proper inflation help prevent cracking of the sidewalls and flat spots.Check the valves and valve caps for leaks and that the valve caps fit properly.
