Crystal Palace face competition from Newcastle, Stoke and Huddersfield for Benfica winger Andre Carillo - report

Crystal Palace face competition from Stoke, Newcastle and Huddersfield for Benfica winger Andre Carrillo, according to reports.

The Stoke Sentinel claims the Potters are eyeing the 26-year-old Peruvian international as a replacement for Marko Arnautovic, who joined West Ham this week.

But Carillo is already on the wish list of Palace, Newcastle and Huddersfield and is about to become the subject of a bidding war, if reports are to be believed.

With Frank de Boer looking for a winger to slot into his 3-4-3 in attack, Carrillo - an exciting player blessed with pace and tricky skills - could prove a good deal at £6m.

De Boer has already made two signings at Selhurst since arriving as manager with Jairo Riedewald joining in defence and Ruben Loftus-Cheek making the short move across London from Chelsea on loan.

But De Boer is keen for more before the summer is out and Carillo could be the perfect signing for the Eagles.
