NEWS: Tension Around White House as Man is Nabbed Near Building With 9 Guns Inside His Car

The White House was on Sunday morning placed on red alert as a man was arrested near the building with nine guns and three knives in his car, according to a police report.
CNN reports that the man was initially stopped by law enforcement for allegedly urinating in public.
Secret Service Uniform Division officers approached the man outside an art gallery in the area of 17th street and Pennsylvania Avenue near the White House, according to law enforcement sources and arrest records.
The suspect told Secret Service officers and agents that he was going to the White House to speak with National Security Agency Director Admiral Mike Rogers and Defense Secretary James Mattis “for advice on missing paychecks and how to get the chip out of my head,” according to the incident report obtained by CNN.
The man was discovered driving a 2009 Silver Nissan with Tennessee Fraternal Order of Police license plates. After being questioned by law enforcement and admitting to having multiple weapons, according to the report, he consented to a search of his vehicle.
The search turned up nine guns, three knives, brass knuckles, suppressors, and various types of ammunition. The firearms included multiple handguns as well as AR- and AK-style rifles.
The suspect was taken to a DC facility “for mental observation” and later transported to a DC police station, where he was charged with multiple weapons violations, according to the report.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the man was previously known by law enforcement.

US President calls Egypt's Sisi to affirm support: statement

US President Donald Trump has told his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi that he wants to strengthen ties with Cairo, Sisi's office said on Friday, days after it emerged Washington had cut some aid to Egypt.

Egypt had protested on Wednesday a US decision to withhold some military and financial aid over human rights concerns.

In a phone call with Sisi, Trump "affirmed the strength of friendship between Egypt and the United States," the presidency said in a statement.

The US president said he was keen to continue "developing relations between the two countries and surpassing any obstacles that might affect them," according to the statement.

Trump's arrival in office in January has seen an improvement in US relations with Egypt, in contrast to his predecessor Barack Obama who took a harder line on human rights issues in the North African country.

Obama temporarily suspended military aid to Egypt after the July 2013 overthrow of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi and the subsequent bloody crackdown on Morsi's supporters.

Sisi in May approved a law which critics say will severely restrict the work of non-governmental organisations.

Hurricane Irma: Largest Evacuation, 6Million Are Ordered To Leave Florida(Pics) -

This is a storm that will kill you if you don't get of the way'

'We can rebuild your homes, but we can't rebuild your lives' Governor of Florida

The largest evacuation in US history is underway as more than 5.6million people have been ordered to leave Florida before Category 5 Hurricane Irma strikes the Sunshine State.

The state's Gov. Rick Scott urged people who hadnot left yet to leave as soon as possible on Friday.

He warned those who plan to stay, that they may have to ride out the dangerous storm at their own risk.

He explained that the biggest concern with the powerful hurricane is the predicted storm surge that will come along with the lashing winds and heavy rains.

The storm has the potential to do $125billion worth of damage when it strikes Miami and possibly much more.

Irma has caused devastation in the Caribbean, killing at least 24 and leveling entire islands.

Extensive damage has been reported on Barbuda and St Martin, with over 90 per cent of buildings wrecked.

The storm is currently battering the northern coast of Cuba.
